Were you able to get a full refund? We have not had 3 major leaks, and the snaps to the top lid have broken 3 times in the past 6 months. I want a full refund as well...not sure how to go about doing it properly.

Hello boys and girls. It's Robin Lynch with the life styles of the poor and unfortunate.

We have another dis satisfied customer here. But don't stop researching you will find more and more terrible reviews. Hey check out there fake review book full of all the wonderful customers who are just so happy. If you want real reviews never check the ones offered by the company who has the item for sale.

The should be charged with gimmick infringement. Who come up with there sales tactics. They should of hired billy Mayes.

At least he was great.this company is a joke if you want a good hot tub. Buy a Hot Springs, Jacuzzi, Bullfrog or just buy any thing that's not made by therma spa and you can't go wrong.

Thermospas advertising & Salesmen

Purchased a nice expensive supposedly top of the line hot tub with extras and was told of the fantastic warranty and customer service as well as many other benefits and have had nothing but problems! The people you talk with at their customer service are rude and not helpful at all. I have sunk more money in repairs than it is worth. The only nice person was the repairman who came to my house to fix the dang blasted so called spa. Wish I would have purchased locally and not believed what Thermospas claimed. It has been a hard and expensive lesson.

NOT WHAT I PAID FOR

from day 1 i have had nothing good come from this company!! when the hooked up my tube and filled it and left it did not work first day!! then it took them 7 try to repair it ok a year later the shell got bubbles in it 4wks later it was replace noe 5yrs later i come home to find the upper lip brocken I called them and its not a warrenty iteam go figure and they dont make the parts any more they put on a big SHOW but thats all it is they are JUNK buyers beware

Their warranty has more holes in it than Swiss Cheese. But nobody takes the time to read the fine print BEFORE buying!

Yet they have their full warranty on their website available for download. All anyone reads/listens to is the warranty summary of 10-20 years without seeing it is a pro-rated warranty that practically disappears after 1-3 years!

Thermospas uses the same tactics as car sales

Thermospas sent a sales rep to my house. He showed me a tiny hot tub that he said sold for $12,000. I told him that CalSpas had a similar model for $3500. I also told him I would like to look at some other companies before making any decisions. He would not leave my house. He called his manager (aka closer) using my phone. The manager told me they had a demo model they could sell me for $7500. The sales rep would not leave my house. And the phone call was long distance on my phone. I ended up buying the hot tub from them to get them out of my house. The hot tub pump went bad in the first year and the jets all fell apart and broke with in three years. Awful product, awful company. Do not call them! Their main goal is to get as much money out of you as possible. (I just want to help other customers learn from my mistake.)

The salesmen pulled a similar tactic on us. He was our best friend.

We laughed and told tales. He seemed very interested in our projects and what we where doing to the house. Told us how great their product was and what *** their competitors where. Gave us the 'ol "if we sign now" we would get $3500 off the price.

But it had to be then and there. We felt pressured and believed him. He said he would keep in touch and want to see how things would turn out. We signed.

Then never heard from him again. We've had multiple problems and their customer service is almost non-existent.

The creative things that Thermospas' competitors come up with to post on this website are very amusing. My wife and I have owned a Thermospas Concord Platinum spa for 10 years, and we LOVE it!!

I assure you we are not ThermoSpas competitors. We are just ordinary hot tub customers who both had terrible experiences with ThermoSpas who wanted to warn other prospective customers not to get involved with ThermoSpas.

Their business model is taken directly from car sales. "How much can you afford to spend?" "We were planning to spend between 1000 and 3000." "Ok, 3000 up to ______ ?" And then they don't leave your house. No other hot tub company sends anyone to your house. They have good products.

You go to their shops and you get to see and even try out their products in the store. ThermoSpas? Nope.

They want you to buy sight unseen at two to three times the price. Don't even answer their calls!

This is not "on him".

You are allowed to shoot people who are on your property who intend to do you harm. I would call intending to take $12,000 from someone harm.

ThermoSpas is not a company to do business with. They sell inferior products and unreasonable prices using high pressure tactics.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A SCAM AND RIP OFF

I have had my Thermospa hot tub for a number of yrs now. It's my second hot tub. From the minute we made the purchase till now (almost 5 yrs)from the instant the tub was installed it was nothing but trouble when dealing with CS. We developed a scale problem that I have been fighting for 4 yrs!!!!!One CS rep will tell me I need to buy chemicals A,B and C and does at her recommend rate. One week later after talking with a "manager" (guess a guy that gets to hold the keys!)I was told I don't need all thse products. BUT I can't return them for credit or other chems because he tells me it's illegal to send chems through the mail!!! IT"S HOW I GOT THEM!!!!!! I now have a ton of un needed chems. Customer service could care less about you!!! They only want to sell you more *** than you need!!! I intend to post on "bad bussiness report.com too!!!!!!

Rumor control

I own a thermos for 12 years. It has been relatively without problems. There were a couple involving the blower and a sensor. The problems were resolved without a hitch. Just this past week I had a problem involving a therapy control and manifold. A quick look on line and I was disappointed with not being able to find the part I needed. A local spa dealer was not able to help and told me that Thermospa was out of business and getting parts was next to impossible. Discouraged,I went home empty handed.I tried Thermospa's phone number and it rang for a while and then wet into prompts and rang some more....into nothing. I gave up. The next moprning I received a phone call from Thermo spa apologizing for the inconvenience and gave me a number to call where I was taken care of in a professional, courteous manner. The parts were located and I was told that they would be shipped on Monday (this was Saturday morning). They arrived at my homeTuesday afternoon. Now, I think that was FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! I give Thermospa 4 stars!!

You are correct, Atlanta, it is best to use an independent spa technician whose only interest is to keep your hot tub running properly for the duration. Unfortunately I can't service GA, but if you live in Central New England, I can help with your Thermospa or any other brand hot tub, for repairs, service and cleaning at the best rates. This is mostly true, but there are issue with some pre-2009 Thermospas as well. Mainly delamination problems, filter canister defects, and weak jet assemblies that are exclusive to Thermospa. Some years and models are quite good.

It is true that Jacuzzi took over Thermospa that they no longer make Thermospas in America (Wallingford, CT) That plant is only a distribution and storage warehouse now, the production equipment has been moved to Mexico.

Jacuzzi is, for some reason, keeping the Thermospa name and has kept the X-owner of the company in charge.

FOR SERVICE you are best off using an independent technician who will be more efficient, economical and just plain easier to deal with.
