From my post of 12 July 2011

In order to have my deposit returned I have filed a consumer complaint with the Connecticut Attorney General's office, I will be filing a complaint with the Virginia Attorney General (my state of residence), the Federal Trade Commision, the Better Business Bureau and any one else I can think of. I ordered a tub in October 2010, due to non-delivery I requested my deposit back in April 2011. To date I have had no response to my request which I sent by mail, fax and email to the company, and by telephone to the local sales rep. My advice is to have no dealings with this company

Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia

I'm sorry to hear Thermo Spa is out of business. I live on Long Island, and have had two thermo-spas over the past 15 years.I would like to find out who were the tec's that serviced Long Island.

I am currently considering purchasing a "Used" 2005 Thermaspa Park Ave. unit 5/6 person spa from a gentleman.

I looked at it today and the gentleman has it "up and running". Everything seemed to work properly except, he stated it needs what he called a "Wave Lounge Diverter Motor" for the Lounger to allow the jets in the Lounger to operate properly in disbursing the water back and forth.

It also needs "All New Head-Rests".

Do you have these parts and if so what is the cost for the parts and to ship to Cape Coral, Florida?

Also, I am not familar with "Thermaspa", what is you opinion of this particular spa for "Quality, "dependablty" and its "theraputic benefit". I have had 5 back operations, and I am looking for a spa specifically that will give me relief "theraputically", not just a "Hot Tub" that is "pretty to look at".

Thanks

For help with your Thermospa in Central New England contact WoCoSpaTech@***.com for expert service from a former 9+year Thermospa tech.

Thermospa pillows are still available from Thermospa and should be ordered from them a.s.a.p. before they're no longer available as they have recently sold to Jacuzzi and will soon be producing that brand.

I am not surprised they folded, their service was terrible. Now I need replacement pillows - anyone know where I can find them, or is there another brand that will fit?

I ordered a spa Nov 18 of 2011, as of now I still have no Spa on my Patio. The Salesman James Erickson came to my house and I ordered a Spa at the cost of $12834.15 I was told it would be 6 weeks before it could be delivered.

this was Nov 18 2011, 6 weeks would have been around just after the first of the year. I called Jan 9 to find out where was my Spa. I was told the company was on ferlow and that I would be getting it around Feb 27 2012. I called again to ask for my money back.

I was told by Kim that I would have to pay a restock fee of $3000.00. I call again and told Kim that I wounted to talk to the person in charge. He Andy never called me back until March 30 2012. He said he would have it shipped in 3 weeks and I'll get it around April 20, 2012.

So 20 TWENTY weeks later I still have no Spa> I told him to send me my money full price that I sent them, thats when he told me they filed for bankruptcy. I told him to send me the papers needed to recover my money today is May 21 2012 and again nothing no paper no money.

I have saved for 9 years to get my spa and they stold my money and lied every time i called. I well be going to the courts here in Phoenix and see if i can file charges.

My $10,000 hot tub is less than a year old. Why hasn't ThermoSpa contacted me re: their status and letting me know about future parts (still under warrantee) and service?

Just send out emails - no stamp needed. They are supposed to be a class outfit!

Do you know where I can get some plastic latches, upper and lower for the top to tub tie downs (4). I'd like to do business with Thermospa but after reading about bankruptcy I'm not sending any money in the mail or by internet.

thanks!

I worked for ThermoSpas the past 4 years & I saw the company going down hill personally. My feelings go out to everyone who's had a bad experience with the company. I was their service tech.

in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area and I was laid off in January 2012.

If anyone needs service in that area, I'd be more than happy to help you out. Email me at : gresum13@***.com.
